Big and Small is the highly successful children’s pre-school programme from Kindle Entertainment. It was launched in October 2008 and since then has been continuously on air on several BBC platforms including CBeebies, BBC1 and BBC2, consistently winning the highest ratings in its slot.

The main characters are voiced by Lenny Henry, one of the UK’s best loved entertainers and renowned actress Imelda Staunton.

Big and Small has gone from strength to strength since it first hit our TV screens - in the UK it has partners bringing a wide range of merchandise including books from Harper Collins, toys from Jumbo games and DVD’s from ITV entertainment; other merchandise includes apparel, magazines and a range of children’s lunchware.

The BBC see Big and Small as one of their key brands for the future – granting their biggest commission ever for a web site [www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/bigandsmall] and broadcasting a radio version of the show on BBC 7. They have also commissioned new episodes that will see Big and Small on air in the UK for the next 3 years.

Big and Small has also made great inroads into other territories, being broadcast in Canada, Benelux, France and many other territories worldwide, as well as a programme of licensed merchandise supporting the brand in each of these territories.
